Integrating technology website

The following website will prove useful for any administrator desiring to exercise leadership in helping educators integrate technology in classrooms. http://www.wtvi.com/teks/ the website is titled "Tools for the TEKS"and has the express purpose of providing resources for educators searching for ways to make technology an integral part of every day in their classrooms. The website is maintained by Wesley A. Fryer. The following is a direct quote from the main page: An accompanying column to this website is published in the TechEdge, the Technology and Education Newsletter of the Texas Computer Education Association. Many are also reprinted with permission by Technology and Learning Magazine..... All articles I have written relating to educational technology, regardless of the print publisher, are included in my article archive." The website is essentially a very robust blog. The only down side is the occasional unnecessarily personal commentary of the author.
The website is easily navigated and includes links to a wide variety of TEA resources as well as current videos, power point presentations and articles. Examples of available information include: Use internet tool to verify hoaxes, clarification on copyright issues for educators and mobile digital story telling.
"The TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE contains several FAQs (frequently asked questions) for educators relating to technology. Educators all over Texas and the United States have submitted questions relating to educational technology. Read the answers to their questions, and submit your own questions and answers."
The "Tools and Techniques" page provides excellent resources for administrators and teachers. The author shares numerous presentations from past Texas Computer Educator Association conferences.
